About Us

The Rainforest is the habitat that perfectly defines the Central and North West Pacific region, providing us our home and centre of operations for our creative musical development.

Founded in El Salvador, Central America in 2004, as an electronic music artist collective, independent record label, and event producing company. In the past, Rainforest Music has created some of the most cutting edge events in Central America; today they have solidified their status as integral tastemakers amongst the Pacific Northwest underground community. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia since 2015, Rainforest Music has been responsible for numerous releases and shows in prestigious venues like: Celebrities, Open Studios, The Beaumont Studios, Venue, and GorgoMish.

Rainforest Music is artist-owned, carefully curating the quality of the output and the community development of its passionate artists. Influenced by a plethora of musical rhythms and swings, Rainforest Music releases and licenses electronic dance music, from house to techno and its sub-genres. Since then, Rainforest Music has been home for regular collaborator Andromo and Chris Fortier, Jared Love, Jon Lee, Alüen, Andy Clockwork and Paul Franc.
